Hi, I am Simone Gordon and I am pleading to you for your kind assistance to do a surgery to remove a tumor on my face.

My surgery was scheduled to be done from 2019 and three (3) years later, nothing has been done and my face is worsening. Sometimes I wake up and saw my tooth and blood all over my pillow, I am also losing a lot of weight because I am unable to eat properly.

A few years ago, I was mowed down by a car that drove off after the accident. I was hospitalized and was doing okay until about 2 years after I was discharged, I saw a small pimple on my left cheek that kept on deteriorating so I had to rush to the Kingston Public Hospital (KPH). However, I was being treated for abscess and this treatment caused other severe side effects such as vomiting, hair loss and having fainting spells because they were treating me for the wrong sickness so I changed my doctor.

I was then referred to the University Hospital of the West Indies (UHWI) to do an urgent surgery which cost me over JMD $100,000. Following that procedure, I was informed by the doctors at UHWI that I will have to do another major surgery but upon hearing the cost of that surgery, I was totally shocked to the point where I started crying because I didn’t know where I was going to get the money to pay for it. However, I did some ‘hustling’ and joined partners in order to finance that surgical operation in which I successfully managed to raise the money needed.

Unfortunately, my brother was murdered during the same time and I had to contribute to his funeral expenses.

Nevertheless, I managed to pay for the two main operations and only need assistance in paying for an X-ray and a CT scan. So I am now pleading to everyone locally and internationally, to please assist me with the funds to carry out the X-ray and CT scan as well as to purchase my medications and the purchasing of certain food items that I’m able to eat. I am unable to work because no one will hire me with my face in this state so I am seeking an estimated amount of JMD $500,000 to assist with my needs; all contributions will be greatly appreciated.
